　　广济桥俗称湘子桥，宋乾道七年(1171年)太守曾江创建，初为浮桥，由八十六只巨船连结而成始名“康济桥”。其在潮州城东门外，横卧在滚滚的韩江之上，东临笔架山，西接东门闹市，南眺凤凰洲，北仰金城山，景色壮丽迷人。

　　Guangji bridge, commonly known as xiangzi bridge, was founded in the 7th year of the song dynasty qiandao (1171). It is located outside the east gate of Chaozhou City, lying on top of the rolling Hanjiang River, facing east of Bijiashan, linking west of downtown Dongmen,overlooking south of Fenghuangzhou and looking up at north of Beijing Jincheng Mountain,whose scenery is magnificent and charming.
