　　适用范围：长短对话和听力短文

　　使用原则：和对立选项保留原则恰恰相反，此原则是指当四个选项中的两个在事实判断、情况陈述、态度表达方面基本一致的时候，即刻判断为同义选项，全部排除，其余两项保留，题目成功率提高50%。

　　经典例题：

　　A. To sell his old car.

　　B. To keep his old car.

　　C. To leave it in the garage to be repaired.

　　D. To get it repaired.

　　A. The assignment looks easy but actually it’s quite difficult.

　　B. The assignment is too complicated for them to complete on time.

　　C. They can’t finish the assignment until Thursday.

　　D. They have plenty of time to work on the assignment.
