Lecture: The town where the professor lives had a mayor selection. He voted someone who was born from a nice family because this candidate’s mom used to be a pretty good mayor 20 years ago. However, this new mayor didn’t behave well after being selected.

Problem: The man needs to write research papers, but he lives off campus. So, he wants to buy a printer.
Solution 1: he could buy a used one. It’s cheap, but the quality cannot be guaranteed.
Solution2: he could buy a new one. He can use it for a long time.
Task 6
In the lecture, the professor talks about two situations that animals don’t drive others away from their own territories.The first situation is that there is plenty of food in the territory. For example, sunbirds don’t drive other hunters away in places where has a lot of flowers.
The second situation is there’s limited resource, so animals won’t waste energy to fight for it. They would look for other places where have better resources.
