　　20世纪90年代以前，东北地区作为我国经济较发达的地区同时也是我国重要的工业基地，然而随着改革开放的深入，东北地区的经济发展速度逐渐落后于东部沿海地区，有鉴于此，国家提出了东北地区等老工业基地振兴战略。东北地区等老工业基地振兴战略实施以来，东北三省经济增速开始加快，逐步缩小了与全国的发展差距。

　　Revitalization of the Old Industrial Bases in Northeast China

　　Before the 1990s, Northeast China, a relatively economically developed region in China, was China’s major industrial base. With the deepening of reform and opening-up, the economic development of the Northeast has lagged behind that of the coastal areas in the East. As such, the Central Government brought forward the strategy of "Revitalizing the Old Industrial Bases in Northeast China". Since the implementation of this strategy, the economic progress in the region has accelerated, gradually narrowing the gap with the national average.
