日本馆音乐剧演绎心之和•技之和

世博网6月5日消息：上海世博会日本国家馆5日公布主题表演概要及其导演人选。担任日本馆第三主展区总导演的是日本舞台剧第一人佐藤信。出生于上海、在城市文化及艺术本色方面拥有深厚造诣的荣念曾任日本馆主题表演协同导演。

日本馆的参展主题为“心之和•技之和”，所要传递的核心信息为“联接起来！为了和美的未来”。日本馆设有3个主展区，其中第一展区表现的是中日两国的密切关系，第二展区将探讨地球目前所面临的各类问题，第三展区则以主题表演为中心，通过音乐剧的形式，演绎第三主展区的主题——心灵的联接与未来的和美。

As the centerpiece of its Expo showcase Japan will stage an opera about a rare bird that avoided extinction in Japan with the help of China, the country's Expo team said today.

The crested ibis became officially extinct in Japan in 1970s. The Chinese government began giving these birds to Japan in the 1990s and the birds began breeding and became established in Japan again.

The opera will be directed by Chinese and Japanese directors. Its theme will be the "connection between hearts" and the "future of harmony." It will highlight the friendship and exchange between the two countries, Hirofumi Wakamatsu, director of the Japan Pavilion, told a press conference in Shanghai.

The opera will be easy to understand, with children the target audience, said Makoto Sato, one of the directors of the opera. Sato said he imagined himself as a child when he created the opera.
