世博会德国馆金属互动球、虚拟解说员首次亮相

2009年11月底，在经过德国TÜV技术监督协会验收并成功测试安装之后，“动力之源大厅”中的金属互动球终于踏上了前往上海的旅途。这个直径3米、重达1.5吨的金属互动球上共装有约四十万根发光二极管，可以通过声控装置对呼喊声做出反应。德国馆工作人员迪特马尔•施米茨表示，相信九百多万“和谐都市”的参观者都将被德国工程师的精妙技术所折服。目前，德国馆官网已经公布了金属互动球的展示效果短片，公众可以提前感受这个充满着神奇色彩的未来之球。

虚拟解说员“严思”和“燕燕”有了真人面孔

在世博会期间，“严思”和 “燕燕”这两个年轻人将陪同来访者参观“和谐都市”展馆。他们的故事开始于中国。机械制造专业的大学生严思在中国认识了建筑设计专业大学生燕燕。而现在，中国姑娘又来到德国做客。严思向她介绍了自己的生活和国家。而世博会的参观者在参观“和谐都市”展馆时，会一直以虚拟的方式见到他们，他们会时而进行短暂的对话，时而出现在现场放映的影片当中。

现在，负责德国展馆展览和媒体设计的米拉联合设计策划有限公司给这两个虚拟人物配上了真人的面孔。现实生活中的严思是一个名为罗曼•格吕贝纳(Roman Grübner)的德国小伙子。他从7岁起就在什未林国家剧院学习钢琴、歌唱和芭蕾舞。16岁时，这个年轻的男中音便获得了全德青年歌唱比赛二等奖。格吕贝纳曾就读于柏林的“汉斯•艾斯勒”（Hanns Eissler）音乐学院。这位现年29岁的艺术家曾参加过许多歌剧演出，并于2007年9月加入什未林国家剧院。除此之外，格吕贝纳还是一名时装模特，并出演过一些商业广告。

燕燕的真实姓名叫金燕，1985年出生于上海，1990年来到德国，之间曾有一年时间回到家乡，从1993年起生活在柏林。她曾经出演过一些德国的电视剧，同样也有过做模特的经验。2000年，这位中国少女曾经参观过汉诺威世博会。现在，她热切地期盼着世博盛会在自己家乡上海举办，而这一次，她将在德国展馆中担当重任。届时，动力之源大厅将现场呈现严思和燕燕的形象。

The German Pavilion has recently revealed key elements of its exhibition, such as a video of its highly expected interactive metal ball and the human faces of two virtual narrators.

The interactive metal ball passed the testing of the TÜV Rheinland Group, a global leader in independent testing and assessment services, and has been on its way to Shanghai. The ball has a diameter of 3 meters, weighing 1.5 tons with 400,000 LEDs. Its voice control system enables it to respond to voices.

The pavilion also unveils the human faces for its “virtual narrators.”

During the Expo period from May to October, German Pavilion's virtual narrators Jens and Yan Yan will guide visitors to tour the pavilion. According to the plot, Jens, a male mechanics student in a German university, met female Chinese architect student Yan Yan in China. During the following parts of the exhibition, Yan Yan went to German and Jens introduced his life style and the country to her. Visitor will follow the tour of the “narrators” to complete the visit of the pavilion.

The human face of Jens came from the young male German Roman Grübner. He learned playing piano, singing and ballet from seven. When he was 16, he received second prize of a national singing competition. He once studies at Hanns Eissler Music Conservatory and now performs in lots of operas. He is also a model and has appeared in several advertisements.

Yan Yan's face came from Jin Yan, who was born in 1985 in Shanghai and went to Germany in 1990. She has settled down in Berlin since 1993. She appeared in several German TV dramas and had also worked as a model. She visited the Hannover Expo in 2000.

The pavilion has recruited more than 230 workers since November, 2009. Starting from March 15, 192 narrators will start to work for the pavilion besides 24 assistants, one photographer, nine drivers and three property management staff. All narrators can speak Chinese, German and English. They would also be able to explain and operate all items at this exhibition as well as keep public order and give advices to visitors.
