　　Step 1: Warming-up

　　1. Greetings.

　　2. Lead students to sing a song named You Raise Me Up.

　　3. Ask them if there is something that can raise them up to lead out topic.

　　Step 2: Presentation

　　1. Ask students to read the passage to get the main idea and underline the sentences they may not understand.

　　2. Write down the target sentences on the blackboard and ask students to observe and discuss the similarities and differences.

　　3. Explain and conclude the definition, structure and rules of attributive clause. The attributive clause is used to modify a noun or pronoun before it. The structure is “antecedent + relative words + clause”. When the antecedent is a person, the relative word should be “who” or “that”. When the antecedent is a thing, the relative word should be “which” or “that”.

　　Step 3: Practice

　　Mechanical drill:

　　一般来说，我们可以在语法课上会将演绎教学法和归纳教学法结合起来。根据新课程标准，学生应该是课堂的主人，我们应该创造更多的机会让他们参与其中。比如在教学过程中的呈现环节。我们可以先让学生观察这些目标语句，进行简短的讨论，然后老师为他们总结，而不是一开始就进行解释。通过这种方式，他们会对知识有一个深刻的理解，而不是被动地接受它。

　　Generally speaking, we can combine the deductive teaching method with the inductive method in the grammar class. As students should be the host of whole class according to the New Curriculum Standard, we should create more opportunities to make them involve in it. Just like the presentation part in the teaching procedures. We can firstly ask students to observe those target sentences and have a short discussion, and then the teacher conclude for them, rather than make explanation at the very beginning. Through this way, they will have a deep understanding for the knowledge instead of accepting it passively.

　　In this class, my difficult point is how to improve their inductive ability and be confident to express themselves. During the class, I’ve mainly instructed them to observe the rules through discussion, so that their inductive ability can be well improved. Moreover, there is no doubt that they are supposed to express themselves based on the knowledge in their daily life. So I gave them a chance to make discussions.
