  Everyone has his own way of saying things and his own special expressions. Many American everyday expressions are from colors.

  Red is a hot color. Americans often use it to express “heat”. They may say they are red hot about something unfair. When they’re red hot they are very angry about

  Blue is a cool color. The traditional blues music in the USA is the opposite of(与……相反) red hot music. Blues is slow and sad.

  The color green is natural for trees and grass. But it’s an unnatural color for humans. A person who has a sick feeling stomach may say he feels a little green. A passenger on a boat who is feeling very sick from high waves may look very green.

  The youngest climber to reach the top of Mount Qomolangma, hugged (拥抱) his team members and told them he loved them. Then 13-year-old Jordan Romero took the satellite (卫星) phone and called his mom.

I want to climb up all of them.” He climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa when he was 9 years old.

  Before him, the youngest climber to reach the top of Mount Qomolangma had been Temba Tsheri of Nepal at the age of 16 in 2001.
