晴雪小园春未到，
池边梅自早。
高树鹊衔巢，
斜月明寒草。
山川风景好，
自古金陵道，
少年看却老。
相逢莫厌醉金杯，
别离多，
欢会少。

It clears after snow in a tiny garden that spring has not yet reached;
Along the pond the plums blossom early of themselves.
Magpies carry their nesting to lofty trees,
And slanting moonlight illumines wintry weeds.
Beautiful, this view of hills and streams,
As always along the roads of Chin-ling town;
But youth turns to age all the same….
Weary not, when we meet, of getting drunk from golden cups;
Of partings there are many,
Of happy meetings, few.
