　　With the advancement in telecommunications, the way (that) people maintain their relationship is going through a dramatic change. From some people’s perspective， they become more dependent on each, while from other’s perspective, the opposite trend occurs. (定语从句，对比从句)

　　People can do many things alone in modern society. A working woman can handle all the housework by herself thanks to various household appliances. The elderly are taken care of in a nursing home instead of being a burden on their family. Teenagers are even sent abroad to pursue their education alone. Obviously people rely less on their families. Meanwhile distance learning through the internet allows some students who are not able to physically attend a school to access education. This means that students are less dependent on real world teachers. Few people have contacts with their neighbours in major cities where people are constrained in high-rise buildings and hardly have the opportunity to say hello to those who live next door. 　　On the other hand, people increasingly rely on each other in some aspects of relationships. Why many young international students can live overseas without their family is in thanks to various public social services, such as house renting agencies and a variety of cafés that usually line along the streets of large cities. It is those strangers who are actually allowing people to live independently. It seems obvious that the dependence on family members is shifting to outsiders. Due to the decrease in birth rates and divorce, children without siblings become more dependent on their peer playmates or classmates to share their happiness and/or sadness. Actually young people become even closer than before because modern telecommunication tools, such as cell phones and the Internet, enable them to keep in immediate touch with others. The most dependent relationships seem to be in the business where people in different sectors of companies, closely interact with one another in either cooperative or competitive fashion. 　　Overall, I would like to conclude that human beings by nature are willing to share, support and care for each other. Independence is just a superficial phenomenon at the heart of dependence. Family is always the most important emotional support and teachers are always the key to education. (宾语从句，并列句)
