The government is planning to invest money in a certain field, which of the following field do you think should be given priority to get money support?
In my view, I think the priority should be given to health care.
The most remarkable reason is that in my city the health care service is far from enough. There is an insufficiency of both reliable doctors and hospitals; it’s common to see patients queue up in a long line to register a doctor or patients wait for even a month before they are accepted by hospitals. So if having the money support, the government can build more hospitals and make sure there is one good hospital in each district, plus there are enough reliable doctors and adequate beds in each hospital. I’m sure the residents in my city will be satisfied with the improvement in health care.
Do you agree or disagree with the statement that parents should prevent their children from pursuing jobs in competitive fields such as actors, musicians or athletes?
I don't think parents should prevent children’s dreams.
For one thing, the hobby and preference are the most important. There is a famous saying from Steve Jobs---the only way to do the great job is to love what you do. So if kids like art or sports, parents should encourage their kids to pursue their dreams.
For another thing, the endeavor is worthwhile. If kids have the talent or will power, they will make it no matter how fierce the competition is. If kids are destined for failure, the experience of pursuing dream is still going to be the valuable asset for them in the long run.
That's my answer, thanks.
