芝加哥环在2005年11月12日(北美)2005年12月17日阅读中考过，本文讲社会学家通过芝加哥( Chicago)的芝加哥环( loop)来研究城市化问题。

　　北美( north America)城市的形成有很多种模式( there are several models)。有人以芝加哥为例提出了一个模型，这个模型包括一个一个环状的区(there is someone who presents a model, takes an ex- ample of Chicago, there are several zones of the city).
　　芝加哥的城市发展过程是一个环、一个环地进行的。在芝加哥的第一个环中，都是商业和工厂的建筑，大多数新的移民都到第一个环中( first the loop, where business and factories built there, lots of new immigrants moved there first.)。当然，这些移民之间也会由于伦理的不同而产生分歧( of course there are conflicts because of different ethic).www.examｗ.com
　　当新移民有了钱之后，他们会搬到第二个区——第二个环( when they have a little money, they moved to the second zone)。在这里，他们每天上班会有一定的距离，但是也会有相对较好的生活环境 ( there they are in a reasonable commuting dis- tance but better living conditions, usually workers and laborers live there)o
　　当他们更有钱之后，他们会搬得离市中心更远( then when they are really better they will moved fur- ther from the downtown)，他们或建造房子或租更好的公寓( they build house and rent better apartment). 这就造成了第三个环的出现。
　　总之，由于越来越多的新移民和越来越多的老住户搬到远离市中心的地方，城市将会越来越大(in one words, city became bigger and bigger because there are more and more immigrants and the old settlers moved out of the city)。
