　　旗装是满族的传统服饰，并作为所有旗人(男女老幼)统一的一种袍式服装。女子穿长及脚面的旗装，或外罩坎肩。脚着长筒白丝袜，穿花盆底绣花鞋。服装喜用各种色彩和图案的丝绸、花缎或棉麻衣料制成，分为单、夹、皮、棉四种。有的将旗装面上绣成一组图案，更多在衣襟、袖口、领口、下摆处镶上多层精细的花边。

　　Banner dress is traditional Manchu wear, a kind of gown uniform worn by all members, man or woman, young or old. Women wear a long dress that reaches their feet. It is covered by an outer waistcoat, with long white stockings, and flat embroidered shoes. The dress is usually made from silk, satin, or cotton cloth in a variety of colors and patterns. It is divided into four forms: single layer, tri-layer, leather, and cotton. The surfaces of some garbs are embroidered with a set of pattern and bordered with multiple layers of fine lace in the skirt, neckline, cuffs, and lower hem.
