　　Made of Qingke (Tibetan highland barley) produced in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Qingke wine is the favorite beverage of Tibetans and the best drink for entertaining guests in the new year, festivals, wedding, celebrating childbearing, or entertaining relatives in Tibet. Tradition has it that the craftsmanship of the Qingke wine originated from the liquor brewing techniques left by Princess Wencheng, who married the Tibetan king, on her way to Tibet. And this is the origin of the wine culture in Tibet. With no complicated process, Qingke wine is a household product among Tibetans.
