　　二级学科是以及学科下的学科小类。 按照国家2011年颁布《学位授予和人才培养学科目录》，分为哲学、经济学、法学、理学等13大门类，每大门类下设若干一级学科，一级学科再下设若干二级学科，二级学科无法申请成为一级学科。我国高校学位点(硕士)的申报一般是依托二级学科来进行的，重点学科基本属于二级学科范畴。

　　The Secondary Discipline refers to the subdivision of the first-level discipline. According to the Subject Catalogue of Degree Awarding and Talent Cultivation, issued by the government in 2011, 13 subject categories are set, including Philosophy, Economics, Law, Science and so on. Each category consists of several first-level disciplines, each of which includes several secondary disciplines. These secondary disciplines can't apply to the first-level disciplines. The application of degree awarding (master's degree) in China's colleges and universities is generally carried out based on the secondary disciplines. The key disciplines generally fall within the secondary disciplines.
