Pearl S. Buck
Pearl S. Buck (1892-1973), was an American writer, human rights activist, and feminist. She lived in China for approximately 40 years. She declared Chinese as her "first language", and she regarded Zhenjiang as her "Chinese hometown". She is the only female writer who has won both the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize, and also the American writer with works published in the most languages. Her main works include East Wind: West Wind, The Good Earth.
