　　保路运动

　　保路运动又称“铁路风潮”，是清朝末期川汉、粤汉铁路沿线省份反对清政府强行将这两条原为民间投资的铁路“国有化”而发生的运动。清政府颁布“铁路国有”政策后，没有补偿民间资本之前的投入，因农民购买的股份占很大比例，招致尤其是城乡劳动人民的反对，从而掀起了“保路运动”。

　　The Railway Project Crisis

　　The Railway Project Crisis, also called the Railway Agitation, is a campaign proposed by the provinces along the Chuan-Han and Yue-Han railways in the late of Qing Dynasty, in order to oppose the Qing government to turn the two private railways into state-owned. After the announcement of state ownership of the railways, the Qing government did not make compensations for private investment, and as peasants brought the major proportions of the share, Railway Project Crisis started as a result.
