　　Chunxiao Oil and Gas Field is a large offshore oil and gas field exploited by China in the Xihu depression of the East China Sea shelf basin, and consists of 4 subordinate oil and gas fields and covering an area of 22,000 square kilometers. It is co-developed by four parties, namely CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Company), Sinopec, Unocal Corp and Royal-Dutch Shell, and the former two jointly hold all the stocks. Chunxiao Oil and Gas Field has been operating since September 19, 2005.
