　　Shuihui music in Puhua is a type of wind and percussion instrumental music used in Buddhist ceremonies, philanthropic activities, and sacrifice ceremonies among the people in Puhua Town, Lantian County, in Shaanxi Province, for thousands of years. Shuihui music originated in the Sui Dynasty and fluorished in the Tang Dynasty. The court music of the Tang Dynasty was imparted to the ordinary people and was thus combined with folk music to create a new type of regional music, which features delicate and pleasant melodies. Shuihui music in Puhua was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.
