　　The Education Inspection Committee was established in 2012 with approval from the State Council. Its office is in the Ministry of Education, where the daily work of the committee takes place. The Committee is mainly responsible for formulating major policies for national educational supervision, reviewing major issues, overall planning for national educational supervision, guiding national education supervision work in a coordinated way, recruiting state inspectors, and issuing reports on the national education inspection. This Committee is designed to improve China's education supervision system.
