　　《莺莺传》是唐代传奇小说，由元稹编撰，原题《传奇》，收入于《太平广记》第488卷，又称“《会真记》”。小说主要讲述的是贫寒书生张生对没落贵族女子崔莺莺始乱终弃的悲剧故事。该小说于叙事中注意刻画人物性格和心理，较好地塑造了崔莺莺的形象，是唐人传奇中影响最大、流传最广的传奇作品之一。直到今天，活跃在电影、电视以及各种剧目，都是由此改编的。

　　Biography of Ying Ying

　　The Biography of Ying Ying, compiled by Yuan Zhen, is a legendary novel from the Tang dynasty. The original title was Legend. It was collected from the 488th volume of the Extensive Records of The Taiping Era, also known as the "Hui Zhen Records". The novel mainly revolves around the tragedy of the poor scholar, Zhang Sheng, and his rejection of the noble woman Cui Yingying. Through the varying images of Cui Yingying, the narration of the novel depicts characteristics of psychology. It is one of the most influential and popular legends of the Tang dynasty. Today, it is still adapted in to film, television, and in a variety of other mediums.
