　　双峰驼，又名野骆驼，是中国的一种荒漠动物，国家一级重点保护野生动物。雄驼多单独活动，生活在草原、荒漠、戈壁地带，嗅觉灵敏，耐饥渴、高温、严寒，抗风沙，善长途奔走，比较驯顺，适于载重，以梭梭、胡杨、沙拐枣等各种荒漠植物为食。主要分布于甘肃、青海、新疆和内蒙古等。

　　The Bactrian camel, also known as wild camel, is a desert animal in China enjoying the national first-class wildlife protection. Characterized by activities alone, male camels live in grasslands, desert, and Gobi areas. They boast sensitive nose, hunger and thirst endurance, and resistance to high temperature and coldness. They can resist sand and are adept at long-distance running, relatively tame, suitable to carry loads. They feed on Haloxylon, Populus, Calligonum and other desert plants and are mainly distributed in Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, and Inner Mongolia.
