　　天山山脉一般指天山，是世界七大山系之一，天山呈东西走向，绵延中国境内1700千米，占地57万多平方公里，占新疆全区面积约1/3。托木尔峰是天山山脉的最高峰，海拔7443.8米。锡尔河、楚河和伊犁河都发源于天山。天山是世界上最大的独立纬向山系，也是世界上距离海洋最远的山系和全球干旱地区最大的山系。

　　Tianshan Mountain, generally referred to as Tianshan, one of the seven mountains in the world , stretches from west to east for 1700 kilometers in China and takes up more than 570 thousand square kilometers, which cover one third of the area of Xingjiang. Peak Pobedy is the highest peak of Tianshan with an altitude of 7443.8 meters, and the Rouzhi, River Chu and lli River all originate from it. Tianshan is the world’s biggest independent zonal mountain, as well as the mountain having the remotest distance and the biggest arid area.
