　　【析句】复合句。主句says this ethics professor at the University of Chicago为倒装句，并将says的内容即省略了that的宾语从句进行了强调。宾语从句的主语是The fact is reason to hope,hope后是that宾语从句，主句主语the fact后是that引导的同位语从句。

　　【析句】与例句1结构相似，都把主句放在句中，Elshtain says,句子的主要内容是says的宾语从句。宾语从句的主干是not……,nor固定搭配，注意nor在句首时，引导的句子主谓倒装，如nor is it……,that denied opportunities……作a time的定语从句。
