2017年上半年四级口语：两大难点突破技巧

　　英语四级口语难点：话题是熟悉的，但是找不到合适自己的切入角度。

　　请自觉默认这个常识：口语考试的准备时间永远是不够用的，真正的答题时间永远是不够放飞自我的。因此，宝宝们此时需要稍微控制一下自己的跳跃性思维，碰到熟悉的话题不要矫情和纠结，在不跑题的前提下，一次找准一个答题角度，根据考试各任务的时长控制时间、表达清楚即可。

　　以四级口语话题“Shopping(购物)”为例：

　　Chief considerations when you do shopping【任务3-个人陈述】。

　　这应该算是大家比较熟悉的领域了，但一碰到chief considerations这种比较宽泛抽象的描述，如何在短短45秒准备时间里找准切入角度呢?

　　Step1 问问你自己

　　网购or实体店?

　　理性购物or冲动购物?

　　质量好or颜值高?

　　坚决不退货or坚持购物维权?

　　……

　　Step2 想想曾经的你

　　选择与自身经历相关的角度：The concern of quality is always my prime consideration

　　Step3 说出你的故事

　　☞ ① 卖家秀和买家秀的差别谁不曾体会!

　　First, we are unable to feel the real products, despite its online descriptions and "stars" given by other buyers. I always receive clothes that seem to have different sizes from what the model wears, and it's definitely not because I am too fat. (+大小、色差、材质等等)

　　☞② 原来好评不等于好质量!

　　Second, the cheating behavior of some shop owners actually makes the entire market not so trustable to the buyers. We can't figure out which comments and behavior are actually from real buyers, and which are from the shop owners themselves. (+不给好评就不能退货等等)

　　英语四级口语难点：碰到完全不熟悉的话题怎么办呢?

　　熟悉的话题用上述3步是为了帮助自己避开“选择困难症”，而完全陌生的问题就很尴尬了，感受一下这个并不陌生的答题情景：

　　Q：Do you have any stressful experience? (六级口语)

　　A：No(+漫长的等待+答题结束).

　　区别于上面四级口语的“购物”话题，这个问题虽然很具体(表面上看似乎就是一个yes or no的问题)，但是stress这个关键词很抽象，抽到这个话题的瞬间就很容易感受到stressful的好吗?

　　面对这样逆天的话题，就要用逆天的思维。

　　如果说“购物”因为可聊的太多别矫情，那“压力”因为不太容易聊就需要矫情一些，“玻璃心”一些，回忆你的青春，放大你的情绪：

　　I had a very stressful experience during the final exam week last semester. I had to take two extremely difficult exams on the same day(压力1). My advisor also asked me to revise a Youth Innovation Project proposal at the same time(压力2). I could only sleep 3-4 hours a day(压力3). I survived the exams and turned in the proposal before deadline. But I ended up being sick for a whole week after I finished all my work(压力4).

　　这段个人故事其实是可以提前准备的，而题目中的stressful如果替换成painful / anxious，甚至是unforgettable / impressive，是不是也可以成立呢?如果稍微“改编”一下，memorable thing / tough decision / difficult time等话题是不是也能用上?这个故事的性价比简直不要太高喔!

　　如果再适当发挥一下“演技”，用停顿控制好时间，用语调渲染下气场，为了信息和情绪能准确表达(顺便刷个分)，做一回drama queen又有何妨!如果能运用简单的总分句模式和衔接词，还可以初步改善连贯性的问题。
