Maintaining and developing an open world economy
China stands for maintaining and developing an open world economy. It advocates that all countries should open their doors wider to other countries, take a clear-cut stand against all forms of protectionism and work in concert to enlarge the pie of the world economy. To this end, they should maintain a free, open and nondiscriminatory multilateral trading system and not follow exclusive trade standards, rules and systems so as to avoid global market segmentation and trade system differentiation. They should discuss how to improve global investment rules, guide the rational flow of capital in global development and more effectively allocate development resources.
