2012年BEC商务英语考试中级口语练习(12)
Our question this week relates to two informal words, gonna and wanna. They are examples of American English that you may hear in conversation particularly in films and TV dramas.转自:考试网 - [Examw.Com]
The words are short for 'going to' and 'want to' and although they get said they don't often get written down, unless you are trying to show someone's speech.
There are other examples of this informal colloquial English such as dunno and gotta. Find out what they mean with Rob and Feifei in Question and Answer of the Week.
Remember there's no need to say these words unless someone uses them in a conversation with you.
