　　Income gap：就是指“收入差距”。

　　Gap在这里的意思是“差距”，例如：a trade gap of $20 million(2000万美元的贸易差额)。Gap也可以表示“分歧，隔阂”，例如：reduce the gap between the two countries on the issue(缩小两国在该问题上的分歧)。另外，gap还有“间隔，间隙”的意思，例如：a gap in a conversation(谈话的间隙)。
