　　Listening 1

一个男生从state university转学过来，专业从history 转成political science。他第一年的课程有两门课（political 101,102）的学分在这里可以用，但是其余学分没有转过来（有题），他很失望，因为work for nothing。工作人员说这种事情很多，因为他们一般是根据课程名称还有number 来转学分的。他可以写一份request去一个department，要包括他的成绩单（B以上）和他以前学习的课程跟现在专业的关系（有题）。然后工作人员又说这个学校还要求学习PE，他们的PE课程很有趣，包括golf等。

Listening 2

是aesthetical preference是天生还是learned，有主旨题，教授提问，学生说天生的，因为我们根据看到的建立自己的审美观。教授说有一个试验back up他的观点，实验是在上science课的时候，教授的ppt里穿插图片，但是图片展示时间小于一秒，让学生从两张图片里选喜欢的，大家选的都是看过的那张图片，这就是所谓的exposure effect（有题）但是learned也有缺陷，因为会不断变化。又举了children about 3 or 4years old，他们对对称的还有well organized的东西有偏爱（有题）这又说明AP（aesthetical preference）是naturally的，又讲了大脑左半边一般负责思考、分析，右半边负责visual部分，用左半球思考的人一般喜欢realistic的画作。后来又讲了一个实验，说对2000多幅画进行研究，发现大部分画的subject集中在右边，这种影响同大部分画家是右撇子相关，而且这种影响不仅表现在画家，也表现在看画的人（有题）。

Listening 3

是ecology课，教授上来就说ecosystem一直受到人类活动很大影响，然后讲了澳大利亚的15000年前一次massive extinction，85%的哺乳动物灭绝。有很多关于这个的假设，climate change是一个，讲了ice age come and go，另一个假设是over hunting，讲了elephant-like的mammal 灭绝的实例（有题），然后否定这个假设因为15000年前厉害的weapon还没出现，最后一个重点讲的假设是一场可能是人类点的大火导致了ecosystem 由woodland 变成desert。科学家通过对一个lake bed的研究发现15000年前的plant现在很多不存在了。又讲了对两种鸟的eggshell研究。因为可以从其中看出鸟的diet，emu吃的植物范围很广，所以植被结构改变后还存活下来，但是另一种鸟很挑食，所以灭绝了（这里有题）)。

Listening 4

讲审美观点是的形成。学生和教授关于一个艺术作业的讨论，因为学生好像原本打算画个窗户的壁画在学校走廊，但是学校通知说要对走廊做minor change ，正好要在学生画壁画的地方安一个窗户。学生本以为要重新做project了，而且他们这个project好像和所学的也关系不大，但是教授说其实有一种艺术方式在课本里有但是还没有讲到。这个表达方式的特点就是realism。然后教授说学生可以做一个木头框的画放在原来想放的地方直到学校要按窗户，学生说good idea，他以后还可以放在别的地方

Listening 5

是marketing课上的lecture，教授讲了analyze audience的重要性（有主旨题），所有的organizations都和public有关系，所以重视分析顾客群体的特点和需要，这里的organizations不光指商业性的，所以带来的好处不仅是关于profit的。分析顾客群体的重要性表现在all organizations need resource上，public可以提供这种resource（有题）因此组织必须尽量使自己的形象保持positive。其中企业员工有很大作用，因为员工不仅是企业一部分，也是社会群体（有题）。一个员工认识35个人，每个员工有5个家人，每个家人又认识35个人。。。员工的影响用得好能给自己形象加分，用的不好会毁坏企业形象。教授说他以前在一个大学里教书，这个大学有一次要建新的建筑，但是学校只注意了要和学生及学生家长打招呼，忽视了大学旁边的居民，因此居民们对建筑噪音很不满纷纷投诉，如果学校注意提前给居民开一个会详细讲述情况并且告诉他们会有一个health club open to the public的话，就不会有投诉了（有题）教授在那个大学上课的时候把这件事作为绝好的教学例子讲给同学们。（有题）

Listening 6

是astronomy的lecture。内容主要关于back to the moon（有主旨题），教授给大家看了一副月球图片，是从一艘spaceship发过来的。科学家很感兴趣想知道是什么impact造成的，又讲了关于月球的mantle，从月球的mantle能分析这个planet的age，composition。然后教授说从月球表面很多小的crater可以分析出它很老了（有题），然后又说因为reflective的问题推测月球可能有icing water，在岩石下防止蒸发，女学生问这样是否证明有primitive life，教授说not my point，icing water的主要作用是其中的H可以作燃料，O可以提供航天员氧气。
